Lake Austin
Tighter shorelines, active water, and highly visible architecture call for precision. Every elevation matters, from the approach on land to the view from the lake.

01 / The waters we know
A dock should respond to its water, its shoreline, and the architecture around it. Aquamarine designs for those differences from the first conversation.

02 / The legacy
1982
Aquamarine Boat Docks was established in 1982 and remains family owned. Across four decades, the work has grown from practical shoreline structures to custom docks, multi-slip systems, and marinas shaped around how families use the water.
Michael Kuehl helped establish that record on Lake Travis, receiving the first LCRA permit for a marina on the lake. The Aquamarine archive holds the plans, specifications, maintenance agreements, and built projects behind that history.

A 32′ × 47′ project pairs an upper deck and partially covered top roof with two boat slips and a PWC ramp—real specifications backed by built work.
03 / Selected work
Structure, access, shade, storage, boats, and gathering space have to work as one system. Every shoreline asks for a different answer.

04 / Explore dock styles
Compare floating docks, pier-and-beam structures, and multi-slip marinas, then use the project archive to collect ideas for your own shoreline.

A dock system that moves with the lake, shaped around slips, lifts, PWC access, and the way the shoreline is actually used.

Choose Lake Austin or Lake Travis, then shape a starting concept around the footprint, slips, deck level, roof coverage, materials, and PWC access. Aquamarine will use it as the first step toward a shoreline and engineering review.
Concept only. Final dimensions, permitting, structure, and pricing require a shoreline and engineering review.

Purpose-built layouts, sundecks, and gathering spaces shaped around the shoreline, the boats, and the way you use the water.
Larger systems planned around access, circulation, water conditions, lifts, utilities, and long-term use.
Marine construction, structural planning, and material decisions brought together as one durable system.
Ongoing dock care and targeted repairs that protect the structure already serving your shoreline.
